Voici des musiques traditionnelles de la pointe de la Gaspésie. Vous les entendrez ici interprétées par l’orchestre de danse de Douglastown. Les musiciens de l’orchestre ont collecté ces airs dans le cadre du documentaire « Grande Chaîne ». Un CD sera disponible à la fin juillet 2022.

Here is traditional music from the tip of the Gaspé peninsula, performed by the Douglastown Dance Orchestra. The musicians of the orchestra collected these tunes as part of the documentary "Grand Chain". CD will be available by the end of July 2022.

All music in this documentary is traditional and was taken from the fiddle repertoire of the tip of the Gaspésie. We have given names to all the tunes followed by an asterisk, as we have no information on existing titles for them.
